Health & Nutrition Disclaimer
Effective date: June 7, 2026
Macro Slide is a fitness planning tool, not a medical tool. This page explains the limits of the app in plain English.
1. Not Medical Advice
Macro Slide is for educational, fitness, and general wellness planning only. It does not provide medical advice, medical nutrition therapy, diagnosis, treatment, emergency care, or a substitute for a doctor, registered dietitian, therapist, pharmacist, athletic trainer, or other licensed professional.
Before changing calories, macros, alcohol intake, supplements, training, hydration, weight goals, or any health behavior, talk to a qualified professional who understands your body and health history.
2. Macro And Food Numbers Are Estimates
The calories, protein, carbs, fats, fiber, alcohol calories, and grocery amounts shown in Macro Slide are estimates. They may come from public nutrition data, seed data, averages, labels, or app-entered food records. They are not lab-measured for your exact food.
Real food values can change based on brand, recipe, cooking method, raw weight, cooked weight, draining, trimming, serving size, measurement error, label rounding, water loss, and natural variation. Use the numbers as planning guidance, not guarantees.
3. The App Does Not Know Your Full Health Picture
Macro Slide cannot know your allergies, medical conditions, medications, pregnancy status, bloodwork, eating disorder history, digestive issues, food intolerances, kidney function, heart health, mental health, training load, or unique nutrition needs unless you choose to discuss those with a qualified professional.
A macro target that is useful for one person may be unsafe or inappropriate for someone else. You are responsible for deciding whether the information in the app is appropriate for you.
4. No Guaranteed Results
Macro Slide does not guarantee fat loss, muscle gain, strength gains, improved health, improved blood markers, better digestion, better performance, body composition changes, or any other result. Results depend on many factors outside the app.
You assume responsibility for food choices, training choices, coaching choices, alcohol choices, supplement choices, and any results that come from using the app.
5. Coaches And Professional Scope
Coaches who use Macro Slide are responsible for staying inside their own professional scope, credentials, insurance, client consent requirements, and local laws. Macro Slide does not turn a coach into a physician, registered dietitian, therapist, or licensed medical provider.
Coaches should not use Macro Slide to diagnose conditions, treat disease, prescribe medical diets, or manage a client's health condition unless they are properly licensed to do so.
6. Eating Disorder And Food Anxiety Safety
Macro tracking is not right for everyone. If tracking food, calories, body weight, or macros feels obsessive, stressful, unsafe, or triggering, stop using the app and speak with a qualified professional.
Anyone with current or past disordered eating, an eating disorder, food anxiety, body image distress, or compulsive exercise should not use macro tracking without professional support. If you need help, contact a licensed professional or an eating disorder support resource in your area.
7. Alcohol And Emergencies
Alcohol calories are tracked for awareness only. Macro Slide does not encourage drinking and does not claim alcohol improves health, recovery, sleep, or performance.
Macro Slide is not for emergencies. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call emergency services immediately.
